Shamir Diamond Group (“Shamir Diamonds,” “we,” “us”) is a private jewelry atelier in Leawood, Kansas. We make custom engagement rings and jewelry, natural and laboratory-grown, by appointment.Serving Kansas City.

This notice covers shamirdiamondgroup.com and the conversations that start from it. It does not cover laboratory websites, payment apps, or WhatsApp itself — those houses have their own policies.

Only what we need to sit with you and make the piece. That is usually:

• Name, email, and telephone, if you give them.
• How you prefer to be reached — email, call, text, or WhatsApp.
• What you are looking for: engagement, a rush date, a shape, a metal, natural or laboratory-grown, an appraisal, an upgrade.
• The note you write, and any stone or setting you tap “Inquire” on.
• Photographs, screenshots of reports, sketches, and measurements you send.
• Technical details the site needs to load — for example, the page you were on and a basic device type. We do not run advertising pixels or a public shopping cart.

The laboratory-grown list is a live inventory feed. Quotes are given in conversation. We do not store a customer account or a checkout history on this site.

We use what you send to:

• Answer the inquiry and book the hour.
• Source, match, and make the diamond and the piece.
• Verify a laboratory report number on the laboratory’s own site when you ask us to.
• Prepare a written appraisal when you request one.
• Keep a working record of the design so the sides match the center, and the metal is the one you named.

We do not use your photographs or your name in advertising. We do not sell lists. We do not send a newsletter unless you ask for one.

A jewelry atelier sees more of a person than a shop does. A photograph of a hand, a ring, a stone on a tray, a GIA or IGI report, a sketch of a setting — that material is the work. It stays in the conversation.

We do not post it. We do not train a model on it. We do not share a design with another client as if it were ours to show. If you later want a piece photographed for you, we will ask.

We share only what a piece requires, and only with people who need it to do their part:

• The studio inbox. The inquiry form is delivered to daniel@shamirdiamondgroup.com through a private mail gateway (FormSubmit) so the message reaches us without opening your mail app.
• The host of this website (Vercel), which stores the pages, not your appointment notes.
• A cutter, setter, caster, or courier when the work requires it — a first name, a size, a metal, a date. Not a mailing list.
• WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, or your email provider, when you choose to write us there. Those services have their own terms.
• A laboratory, only if you ask us to follow a report, and only on their own site.
• The law, if we are required. We will not volunteer a conversation.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it.

The site uses only what it needs to load and to remember a form you just sent. We do not place advertising cookies. We do not run a tracking pixel for Facebook, Google Ads, or a data broker.

If that changes, this page will say so before it happens — not after.

Appointment notes and design files stay with the piece for as long as we may need them to service, match, or remake it. A finished ring sometimes comes back years later for a resize or a side-stone match. That memory is part of the work.

If you ask us to delete a conversation, we will — except where a law or a warranty record requires a line to remain. We will tell you if that is the case.

Write or call, and we will:

• Tell you what we have that is about you.
• Correct a name, a number, or a note that is wrong.
• Delete a conversation you no longer want us to hold.
• Stop using a photograph.

If you live in a state that gives you further consumer privacy rights, we will honor the request in that spirit. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that score.

This atelier is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write us and we will delete it.

Privacy requests go to the same studio that answers the work.
