Shamir Diamond Group (“Shamir Diamonds,” “we,” “us”) is a private jewelry atelier in Leawood, Kansas. We make custom engagement rings and jewelry, natural and laboratory-grown, by appointment.In the room, by video, or from a photograph. The piece leaves fully insured.

This notice covers shamirdiamondgroup.com and the conversations that start from it. It does not cover laboratory websites, bank apps, Zelle, or WhatsApp itself. Those houses have their own policies. How we take payment is on How we settle and in the terms of sale.

Only what we need to sit with you and make the piece. That is usually:

• Name, email, and telephone, if you give them.
• How you prefer to be reached — email, call, text, or WhatsApp.
• What you are looking for: engagement, a rush date, a shape, a metal, natural or laboratory-grown, an appraisal, an upgrade.
• The note you write, and any stone or setting you tap “Inquire” on.
• Photographs, screenshots of reports, sketches, and measurements you send.
• On larger invoices: a government identification, a photograph of you with the invoice, or a letter from your bank — only if we ask, and only to confirm who is sending.
• Technical details the site needs to load — for example, the page you were on and a basic device type. We do not run advertising pixels or a public shopping cart.

The laboratory-grown list is a live inventory feed. Quotes are given in conversation. We do not store a customer account or a checkout history on this site. We do not ask for a routing number, an account number, or a Zelle name on this website. Those details are given on a written invoice after we speak, and confirmed on a call to the number printed here.

We use what you send to:

• Answer the inquiry and book the hour.
• Source, match, and make the diamond and the piece.
• Verify a laboratory report number on the laboratory’s own site when you ask us to.
• Prepare a written appraisal when you request one.
• Keep a working record of the design so the sides match the center, and the metal is the one you named.

We do not use your photographs or your name in advertising. We do not sell lists. We do not send a newsletter unless you ask for one.

If you give a telephone number and ask us to call, text, or WhatsApp, you agree we may reach you that way about this inquiry, the hour, and the piece. Email is always available.

You can tell us to stop a channel at any time. Write or call, and we will.

On larger invoices we may ask for a government identification, a photograph of you with the invoice, or a letter from your bank. We use those only to confirm the person sending is the person named on the invoice. We do not use them for advertising. We do not sell them.

We keep them with the sale record. We delete them when you ask, except where a law requires a line to remain. We will tell you if that is the case.

A jewelry atelier sees more of a person than a shop does. A photograph of a hand, a ring, a stone on a tray, a GIA or IGI report, a sketch of a setting — that material is the work. It stays in the conversation.

We do not post it. We do not train a model on it. We do not share a design with another client as if it were ours to show. If you later want a piece photographed for you, we will ask.

We share only what a piece requires, and only with people who need it to do their part:

• The studio inbox. The inquiry form is delivered to daniel@shamirdiamondgroup.com through a private mail gateway (FormSubmit) so the message reaches us without opening your mail app.
• The host of this website (Vercel), which stores the pages, not your appointment notes.
• A cutter, setter, caster, or courier when the work requires it — a first name, a size, a metal, a date. Not a mailing list.
• WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, or your email provider, when you choose to write us there. Those services have their own terms.
• A laboratory, only if you ask us to follow a report, and only on their own site.
• Your bank, Zelle, or the receiving bank, only when you send funds. We do not collect those account numbers on this website.
• The law, if we are required. We will not volunteer a conversation.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it.

We settle by bank wire, ACH, or Zelle. We do not take cards, so we do not hold a card number. Routing, account, and Zelle details are not stored in a form on this site. They are written on an invoice and confirmed on a call to +1 (704) 737-2752.

You may set aside a diamond, a piece of jewelry, or a setting on this browser for an hour and a half. Three pieces at most. That list stays on the browser. It is not a reserve, and it is not a sale.

When you request a private quote, we keep the selection: the pieces and the specifications as they were at that moment, your name, email, telephone, any note you typed, and the status of the request. A payment reference, if you add one after the invoice, is a note so we can find the transfer. It does not mark the order paid. Only the studio can do that, after the bank shows the funds.

You open that selection again with the code and the same email. We do not give you a password. We do not show one client’s selection to another.

The site uses a necessary cookie so you can reopen a selection you just sent, and so the studio desk stays signed in on that browser. We do not place advertising cookies. We do not run a tracking pixel for Facebook, Google Ads, or a data broker.

We count visits, and we count a book, a call, a WhatsApp, a selection, and a quote. That count is there so we can see whether the site is being used. It is not sold. It is not used to follow you onto other sites.

Appointment notes and design files stay with the piece for as long as we may need them to service, match, or remake it. A finished ring sometimes comes back years later for a resize or a side-stone match. That memory is part of the work.

If you ask us to delete a conversation, we will — except where a law or a warranty record requires a line to remain. We will tell you if that is the case.

Write or call, and we will:

• Tell you what we have that is about you.
• Correct a name, a number, or a note that is wrong.
• Delete a conversation you no longer want us to hold.
• Stop using a photograph.

If you live in a state that gives you further consumer privacy rights, we will honor the request in that spirit. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that score.

This atelier is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write us and we will delete it.

Privacy requests go to the same studio that answers the work.
